The apartment is 20 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. A bus service will be provided at certain times of the day.
Altinkum is a 15min ride away on the inexpensive Dolmus bus service and runs throughout the year (every 15mins during peak season.)
Travel
The nearest airport is Bodrum, approx 50-60 minutes away.
Alternitively, Izmir airport is 90mins away. British airways do an all year round flight from London.
Flight operators can vary, depending on where you are flying from, so it pays to shop around.
A new road is planned to Bodrum airport which will reduce transfer times to only 30 minutes.
Great news, EasyJet now fly to Bodrum from Gatwick.

Being located in Akbuk it is just a short walk to Akbuk Harbour, Akbuk beach, fresh fruit vegetable stores, Chemist, Doctor, Internet cafes, bank ATMs, bars & restaurants. You don't need a car!
The local people are extremely warm and friendly. You will soon fall under the spell of Akbuk's charm. It is the perfect place if you just want to relax and unwind, however there is plenty to do if you wish to explore. For just £10 per person, a host of pleasure boat trips leave Akbuk Harbour every morning, departing at 10am and returning by 5pm. A superb day out awaits you to cherish all those beautiful beaches and coves. Trip includes a delicious barbecue lunch.
